This blog is about my hiking trip to Peru in 2006. My quest was Machu Picchu, an ancient ruined citadel nestled in an airy mountain fastness. In this picture I am seated atop Wayna Picchu, the peak which overlooks Machu Picchhu. I am sitting on top of the world, alone, which was apt at the time.
